Chongqing Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. is the key backbone subsidiary enterprise of SASAC in Chongqing and the holding subsidiary of Chongqing Chemical & Pharmaceutical Holding (Group) Company. Established in 1950, the predecessor of the Group --- Southwest China Branch of Sinopharm is the key reserve organization for medical instruments designated by the central government and Chongqing government. It is also one of the only three enterprises wholesaling special drugs nationwide. The Group, based on the coordinated development of such three types of operation as pharmaceutical business, big health and R&D of drug, is the largest-scaled medical & healthcare group with the strongest comprehensive strength in western China.
