In 2014, we have developed an effective Vacuum Assisted Breast Biopsy device Bexcore for diagnosis of breast cancer and treatment of benign tumor for the first time in Korea. It is an advanced Vacuum Assisted Breast Biopsy system that can inspect or remove tumors inside the breast without marking large incision scar. It is a method to make a 4~5mm incision and aspirate tissue into a needle by placing it near to a lesion under ultrasound guidance and then the tissue cut by an inner blade of the needle is discharged automatically by vacuum suction. You can get the proper amount of tissue essentially necessary for diagnosis of breast cancer by continuous sampling, this allows you to make a correct diagnosis. Also, you can remove benign tumors so it can be used for treatment as well.
Bexcore complements the shortcomings of VABB devices that were produced only by foreign global companies, and is now used by many domestic and international hospitals & clinics and receive a good reputation.
Now we are exporting to Poland, Vietnam, Iran, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Japan & so on. We are working on registration for some countries as well. In Korea, some reputed university hospitals and about 250 of general hospitals & clinics are using our product. Currently, we have 40% of market share in domestic market due to simple procedure & high-quality service.
