In 1908, Gear Picard worked in his father's knife factory in Brig Town, Valais, Switzerland. He first designed the concept map of the Swiss Army Knife and successfully produced it. It was delivered to the army in 1910.
Beginning in 1920, people began to have the concept of travel, and travel bags came into being.
Gear Picard uses the rigorous and precise craftsmanship of the Swiss Army Knife and the ingenuity of excellence to create leather goods, bags and other travel equipment for travelers to and from Brig.
In order to remember the symbol of Swiss manufacturing, Gear Picard named it after the Swiss flag classic Cross and his own name Gear, and the Cross Gear brand was born from then on.
