Application : Rx-972 is the main product of deep processing of tetrabromobisphenol A with better flame retardancy. It belongs to additive flame retardant, used for EPS, XPS plate, flame retardant polyolefin (such as PP, PE, polybutylene etc) and thermoplastic high elastomer material, polypropylene plastic and fiber, polystyrene foam plastics flame retardant, also can be used for polyester fabric flame retardant finishing and vinylon coated double-sided leather flame retardant.It is also suitable for polystyrene, unsaturated polyester, polycarbonate, polypropylene, synthetic rubber, etc. It is a good substitute for flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane.
Product performance: Rx-972 is an additive flame retardant which has the characteristics of low dosage,good flame retardant effect and little influence on physical properties of materials.It is mainly used in EPS, polypropylene and other styrene resin,and can show its excellent performance.The appearance of this product is a white crystalline powder,soluble in acetone,Ester and other organic solvents, good stability for heat and ultraviolet light.The flame retardant effect of the product is higher than that of aromatic bromine flame retardant,the thermal stability is excellent, can make the processing equipment safer, the product performance is better,especially for higher temperature processing plastic products is more suitable.
