L-Carnitine is an oligopeptide which is composed of two amino acids - lysine and methionine. The main function is to transport fat into the cells for energy metabolism, promote fatty acid transport through the mitochondrial membrane and convert the fatty into energy, that is to promote the cells through oxidation of fatty acids in the body to produce energy.
