1) Introduction

ACE e-CLEAN Fluid is a safe, nonflammable solvent blend designed to clean Electrical and Electronic Equipment exterior surfaces, flaps, controls, connectors, electromechanical devices, relays and circuit breakers. ACE e-CLEAN fluid is formulated to remove light oils, greases and silicones, as well as fluorinated oils and greases, dust and particulates, from equipment and components. ACE e-CLEAN fluid is compatible with most plastics and other materials of construction. It is nonflammable, non ozone-depleting, has low global warming potential and contains no TCE, perchloroethylene, HCFCs, HFCs, nPB or HAPs. ACE e-CLEAN fluid is 60% US EPA VOC Exempt and can be used on Electrical and Electronic Equipment under the Option

2) Features

The ACE e-Clean(5 gal) solution is a product without ozone-depleting substances and uses for cleaning of electrical panels (high and low voltage), electronic equipment, communication equipment, etc. Also, non-stop cleaning is possible with high non-conductivity without shutting off the power, which is a great advantage.

It has the economic effect of removing the electric obstacles and extending the life of the equipment by removing the fine dust and various particles by infiltrating the cleaning solution to the deep gaps in the equipment with the exclusive cleaning equipment.

As a non-corrosive and non-oxidizing substance, it prevents damage to electronic parts due to cleaning and does not leave residues after evaporation after cleaning.

3) Applications

• Can be used to clean contacts, control systems, D.C. applications and units, electromotors, generators, collectors, slip rings, power electronics, rectifier stations, transformers, coils, power circuit breakers, separating switches, contactors, relays, latching relays, protective switches, power switches, potentiometers, diodes, photo-voltaic cells, transistors, microswitches etc.

• Can be used in electro-technics, electromechanics, power engineering, measuring and control technique, motive power engineering, telecommunications technique, radiotechnology, television technique, medical technique etc.

4) Product Strength

• Secure to use since there is no flash point, dielectric strength 50,000 V/cm. Rapid, complete evaporation. Will not leave any residues.

• Not harmful. Will not affect the skin. Practically without smell. Does not attack common materials like metals, contact plating, isolation, paints, lacquers, rubber, plastic etc.

• Very economical. Allows cleaning without dismounting. Cleaning operations will be finished within minutes. In most of the cases the obtainable cost savings can reach up to 70% and more than that

• Provide intensive cleaning activity. Removes oily and fatty pollution, dust deposits, further dirt and impurities that will lead to disturbances to too high contact resistance, thermal conduction problems or even to fire.

5) Processing

• Can be applied by spray, dipping, or paint brush cleaning. Best results can be reached, when ACE e-CLEAN. 1000 is sprayed with fine stream through spray cans or electrical spray gun and fitted neddle-shaped jet. Can be applied by using ACE-can 500ml handsprayer.
