Primary advantages
- AM4 series grating system is a compact grating for high dynamic precision system, single-field scanning application and low-latency subdivision processing, so that it has excellent dynamic performance.
- The AM4 series grating system is adapted to the M4 series ultra-thin stainless steel scale with a 40μm grating pitch. The expansion coefficient is exactly the same as that of the substrate, and no separate temperature compensation is required.
- Corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant scale, high-strength scale, can effectively prevent the damage of the scale, making it still applicable in places with harsh environments. The scale surface is uncoated and when contaminated, the scale can be cleaned with solvents.

Installation Precautions
1. Scale placement tools must be used for scale placement, and freehand placement is prohibited.
2. Because there may be mounting stress, it takes 24 hours after the scale is mounted before proceeding. Accuracy calibration is performed, and it takes longer at lower temperatures.
3. For the long-term reliability of the application, the main body of the application (linear motor, machine) needs to be Reliable grounding and shielding are required to prevent the reading head from being disturbed, and the power line It should be separated from the signal line as much as possible.
4. The power supply terminal of the reading head needs to meet 5V±10%, and the current is not less than 300mA.
5. Dirt on the scale may cause noise or failure of the output signal of the reading head. Scale cleaning, the scale can use dust-free paper with ethanol, isopropanol clean.
6. The fixing screw of the reading head must follow the length and torque given in the installation drawing, otherwise Damage or poor seating of the readhead may result.
