Overview
ASTM B444 Seamless Pipe is a nickel-based super alloy that offers properties of high strength and resistance to elevated temperatures. It also demonstrates remarkable protection against oxidation and corrosion. ASTM B444 grade 1 has the ability to high stress and a wide range of temperatures, both in and out of water, as well as being able to resist corrosion while being exposed to highly acidic environments makes it a proper choice for marine and nuclear applications. B444 UNS N06625 is invented for the purpose of creating a material that could be useful for steam-line piping. Some changes were made to its original composition that has enabled it to be even more weldable and creep-resistant.
Inconel 625 Welded Pipes are a superalloy that has been solid solution strengthened for use in both elevated temperature and high pressured applications. The pipes produced under ASTM B444 UNS N06625 specification often indicates that these pipes have a seamless construction.

Application
1.Petrochemical industry. Due to their excellent high temperature, corrosion and pressure resistance, they are used to manufacture pipelines, storage tanks and reactors under high temperature and pressure to meet the requirements of the petrochemical industry for material strength and corrosion resistance.
2.Aerospace field. In this field, the required materials must have the characteristics of lightweight, high strength and high temperature resistance. The Inconel625 pipe meets these requirements and is therefore used to manufacture key components such as engine nozzles, combustion chambers, turbine blades and exhaust systems to ensure aircraft can take off, land and fly safely.
3.Medical device manufacturing field. Due to its good corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, it is widely used in the manufacture of human implants and surgical instruments, such as heart stents, artificial joints, bone nails and dental equipment.
Heat-treated conditions
Grade 1 (annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C).
Grade 2 (solution annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures above 1100°F (593°C) when resistance to creep and rupture is required.
