This 'Emergency Stop' switch is called a Belt sway switch. It is installed to the side of the conveyor belt.

This switch stops the conveyor or any material handling equipment or generate alarm signal when deviations of conveyor belt were detected. Functions such as explosion proof, water proof and dust proof are superior because the contact point is separate completely from terminal box.

This switch is operated in 2steps by Double Cam. So, it’s possible to use it by separating contact points. And can give “alarm” signal at 25° and “stop” signal at 35°as per (2) different angles.
