Descriptions:
Cable Bolts for Mining are used for temporary and semi-permanent rock reinforcement in underground Mining. Rock bolting with prestressing steel cable bolts combines low bolt weight with high load-bearing capacity. The system remains flexible even with larger cable bolt lengths.
Special Mining Cable Bolts featuring a free length or a threaded anchorage instead of the default barrel and wedge system were developed for challenging ground control works. These bolts allow a tensioning of the system without tensioners.

Fields of Application:
1.Ground control for different fields of application - from coal mining to hard rock mining
2.Bolting in limited space conditions
3.Reinforcement of roadways and gateways
4.Bolting in the hanging wall of longwall T-junctions
Main Advantages
1. Long cable bolts are easily displaceable in limited space
2.High load-bearing capacity at a low weight per meter
3.Flexible bolt lengths
4.Installation using cement cartridges, resin cartridges, cement grout or injection resinKey Features
1. Plain cable bolts are manufactured from stress relieved, low relaxation, high strength 15.2mm diameter 7 wire steel strand and are commonly used as long tendons in strata reinforcement.
2. Plain cable bolts are supplied in various lengths to customers' requirements.
3. Load capacity can be enhanced by simply doubling up from single strand, to double, or treble as the need arises.
4. Can be used with cementitious grouts as well as resin anchors when early support is required.
5. For up hole applications, plain cable bolts are fitted with a spring wire "fish hook" to hold the cable bolt up the hole prior to grouting.
6. Multiple strand cables are usually supplied swaged on the up hole end.
7. Surface confinement is usually provided by flat or domed plates and barrel and wedge anchors. For accessories, refer to appropriate pages for slotted or multiple hole plates, barrel and wedge anchors, cable bolt spacers, grout and breather tubes.
