Capillary Tube Mats Introduction

Sinolanc Capillary tube mat system is an innovative technology developed to replace the conventional radiator heating and air conditioning systems. It is made of Polypropylene. It consists of plastic tubes with an external diameter of only 4.3mm and two collection pipes with diameter of 20mm. The mats are supplied in lengths of 1m to 12.0m and variable widths up to 1.0m.

Working Principle:

Capillary tube mat is already realized its own set of distribution structure in stage of product manufacturing. Sinolanc Capillary tube mat is consist of inlet,return water main tube and many capillary branch tubes. It was achieved technology breakthrough which one piece of main tube directly connected with other branch tubes through the side at the same time. It doesn’t need assume direct pipe fittings, elbow, tee and other traditional connections. In the current traditional radiator, floor heating pipe technology category is unable to achieve that.

1. Where can the capillary tube mat be installed?

Capillary tube can be installed on roof, wall, and floor, under the surface decorative materials.

2. What are the advantages of capillary tube mat compared with the traditional heating or cooling system?

Compared with the traditional heating and cooling system, capillary tube mat is a kind of more efficient, more energy-saving, more environmentally friendly, healthy and comfortable and have a long using life products.

3. Can capillary tube mat be used with heat pump?

Yes. The capillary tube mat can be used with ground source heat pump, air source heat pump, water source heat pump, solar energy system, gas furnace and central heating and cooling system.

4. Is capillary tube mat system energy-saving?

Yes. In winter, the input water temperature is only 28-32℃, which is much lower than the 45-60℃ of the traditional underfloor heating system. In summer, the input water temperature is only 16-18 ℃ , which is much higher than 5-7 ℃ of the common air conditioners.

5. Is there condensation phenomenon when using cooling system? How does condensation protection work?

The condensation phenomenon occurs only when the system temperature below the dew point. It is essential to prevent the formation of condensation water by the below methods:

1). Increase cold water temperature: 18℃ higher temperature of cold water uses, while ensuring adequate capillary tube mats laying area. Increasing the water temperature in the capillary mat systems will prevent condensation water forms.

2). Air treatment by dehumidifying air: The fresh air dehumidifier is used that ensures comfortable humidity and prevents the condensation occurs.

3). Shutdown by dew point sensor: If it is a risk of reaching the dew point, the system will automatically shut down by the sensor.

6. Can silting /block occur in the capillary tube mat system?

Silting is not possible by reasonable design and rich construction experience.

1) . The inner of capillary tubes is smooth enough to prevent silting for the normal scale.2) . Equipped with small filtration devices to prevent large particles from entering the capillary tubes.3) . Using only corrosion-resistant materials pipe and components in the system.

7. Will the decorative layers break?

The wall temperature is relatively constant between heating and cooling. So temperatures change is not going to make the wall break. We currently adopt flexible polymer mortar and two glass fiber networks to prevent an empty drum when installation.
