About calcium silicon/FeCa/C/Calcium Cored Wire:
Cored wire is an off-furnace refining method, which is widely used in the feed technology of modern steel making and used on ladle refining process. It is to join all kinds of additives of steel or iron liquid (deoxidizer, desulfurization agent, inoculant, alloys) and broken into a certain size, and then use cold rolled low carbon steel belt to include it as a composite material with arbitrary length.
