The cashew nut is a popular snack, and its rich flavor means it is often eaten roasted, on its own, lightly salted or sugared, or covered in chocolate.
Cashews, unlike other oily tree nuts, contain starch to about 10% of their weight. This makes them more effective than other nuts in thickening water-based dishes such as soups, meat stews, and some Indian milk-based desserts. Many southeast Asian and south Asian cuisines use cashews for this unusual characteristic, rather than other nuts.
Mandiri Agriculture process cashew nuts kernels and supply to the reputed manufacturers of chocolate, biscuits, snacks and also to bakeries in Indonesia. We also export our products to the US and ASEAN markets. Our product is approved for distribution by Ministry of Heath (FDA Department) and certified HALAL HACCP is in progress.
Our processing capacity is about 20 to 25 tons (according to availablity of raw materials). After distributing with our domestic buyers we will have some stocks for exports. Our interest is to work with regular buyers who are able to accept 2 to 3 tons per month. We do accept orders for deliveries within 3 months on regular basis.
