Paper Making Grade CMC
Description:
Carboxymethyl cellulose CMC is an effective paper-making additive and can be used in many procedures such as pigment coating, adding in the pulp and surface sizing, with good water-retaining property, dispersibility and shear thinning.

Applications:
In paper-making industry, CMC can be used in the pulping process. It can increase the residence rate and humidity. When it is used in the surface gluing or pigment excipient, it can increase the inner adhesive force, reduce the printing dust, and improve the printing quality; when it is used in the paper coating, it can contribute to the pigment’s distribution and liquidity, improve the paper’s fineness, smoothness, optical performance, and printing adaptability. Due to its film-forming property and oil resistance, which is the property of water-soluble high polymer, CMC is a widely used additive with practical value in paper-making industry.
1). When CMC is used as the gluing, it can endow the paper with high compactness, low ink penetrability, good wax aggregation and smoothness.
2). CMC can improve the viscous state of the inner fiber of the paper, which can in turn increase the intensity and folding strength of the paper.
3). In the coloring process, the usage of CMC can control the fluidity of the color paste and allow the color paste to have good ink absorbency.
1). Improve coating quality.
2). Promote better fiber refinement process.
3). Better regulate coating rheology and dispersion of solid content.
