Chord Reinforcement
Chord reinforcement has two connectors at both ends. In the middle of the reinforcing chord rod, there are support holes and chord bolt holes.
Chord reinforcement will improve the bending resistance of truss and make full use to the shear resistance of truss. Because the bending moment at the end of the bridge is very small, there is no need to install reinforced chords in the first truss and last jointed truss.
