BS PRP SYSTEM : PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA) KIT

Description

What is PRP?

Platelet is one of blood elements, Which usually moves along the blood stream as inactivated form. If it is activated by wounds or damages of tissues, it does perform its original functions of blood clotting and wound healing. PRP therapy is to maximize the main fuctions of platelets.

There are a lot of growth factors inside platelets Thus PRP is able to treat the damaged tissues fundamentally when PRP is injected into damaged ligaments, muscles or cartilages.

Growth factors within platelets activate celluar proliferation, collagen production, hyaluronic acid production, epidermal cell growth, angiogenesis and wound healing etc.

Benefits of our PRP

Co-developed goods with medical doctors Precise extraction - concentrated PRP can be seen with eyes No damage in cells Higher concentration rate of PRP Short extraction time State-of-the-art skills based on patients

Application of PRP

Aesthetic purpose, bald treatment, pain control Degenerative arthritis Osteomalacia Cartilage injuries Ligament injuries Frozen shoulder Chronic elbow tendinosis (tennis elbow, golf elbow) Ligament-injuries according to various Sports (sport medicine) Ligament injuries or cartilage damage of ankles Achilles tendinitis Plantar fasciitis

Benefits of PRP - PLATELET RICH PLASMA

As a cutting edge procedure, further research needs to be done to better understand the effects of PRP. Currently, there is some evidence that PRP is effective for bone healing, cartilage repair, and wound healing. Ongoing clinical trials are assessing the efficacy of PRP for ankle sprains, bone healing, chronic Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and many other musculoskeletal injuries. According to the research studies currently reported, PRP is most effective in the treatment of repetitive tendon injuries, especially tennis elbow. The use of PRP for other recurrent tendon injuries – such as persistent Achilles tendonitis or inflammation of the patellar tendon at the knee (jumper’s knee) is promising. In summary, available data suggest that PRP may be valuable in enhancing soft-tissue repair and wound healing.

Short recovery period for PLATELET RICH PLASMA

Patients typically experience minimal discomfort following at the site which may last for up to 1 week. In some cases rest may be prescribed, but most patients are able to continue with normal activities or work shortly after the injection. Using your own tissue (Autologous) virtually eliminates the po tential problems with allergies or rejection utilizing your own stem cells

PRP low risk and side Effects

In the New Age of Prolotherapy, Dr. Donna alderman states, “there have been no documented cases of carcinogenesis, hyperplasia, or tumor growth associated with the use of autologous PRP. PRP growth factors never enter the cell or its nucleus and act through the simulation of external cell membrane receptors of adult mesenchymal stem cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, osteoblasts, and epidermal cells. This binding stimulates expression of a normal gene repair sequence, causing normal healing – only much faster. Therefore PRP has no ability to induce tumor formation. The PRP procedure is done with the patient’s own blood therefore the risk of allergy or infectious disease is considered minimal. Evidence also exists in studies that PRP may have an antibacterial effect.”

Potential Benefits of PRP Include

Very few contraindications

Minimal risk

Short recovery time

Cost effective treatment

Targeted and accelerated healing

Rapid results with long-term benefits

Natural, visible improvement without artificial enhancement

High level of patient satisfaction and significant return on investment

PRP POTENTIAL BENEFITS

The PRP procedure could actually speed recovery time, helping to decrease pain and increase performance of the injured area.

Instruction for use

1 Anticiagulant
Take 3cc~3.5cc anticoagulant from Ampoule by using 20cc syringe/21G needles.
2 Blood Sampling (drawing)
Blood sampling with 20cc syringe21G needle which has 3cc anticoagulant. Draw blood from the patient until colleting 20cc amount mixture.
3 Move Drawn Blood into Cylinder
Connect (a syringe filled with drawn blood) into Cylinder by using Transfer.
4 Centrifugation
Set up for centrifugation is 2800rpm(1300 G-force) with 9min.
5 Appearance after centrifugation
This figure show the appearance when centrifugation is completed The contents inside cylinder after centrifugation, RBC-PRP-PPP will be seen from the bottom to the top.
6 Extraction of PPP
Connect a 10 cc syringe for extracting PPP. Move upward slowly while twisting dockwise until the top of RBC layer reaches almost the baseline of syringe.
7 Extraction of PRP
Connect a 3cc or 5cc syringe fir extracting PRP. Move upward slowly while twisting clockwise until the tip of RBC layer reaches almost the baseline of syringe.
8 Concentrated PRP
After extraction PRP, shake the syringe for mixing well. (You can control the PRP volume from 1cc to 3cc including the blood.)
