The DSC1 plastic tipping bucket rain gauge is an instrument for measuring surface rainfall and is suitable for meteorological observations and rainfall measurements during periods of heavy rainfall. The sensor is composed of rain-retainer, anti-blocking cover, filter net, funnel, up-turn bucket, measuring tipping bucket and base, etc. It features as the reasonable structure, simple to use and novel in design. By connecting the cable directly to the data acquisition system, automatic rainfall observation and data processing can be realized, which is suitable for using in automatic weather stations and rainfall stations.
