The basic carrier frequency band of ESB 900 power line carrier is 4kHz and it can be used for simplex or duplex operation. With duplex operation, the terminals can be used with or without spacing between the send and receive band. Double-channel transmission can be used when the information needing transmission enlarged and at this time the bandwidth shall be 2.4KHz. According to the quantity of channels and power of HF output, it can be divided into the following kinds:

ESB 921: single-channel, output power ≤20W (one 6U chassis)

ESB 922: double-channel, output power ≤20W (one 6U chassis)

ESB 941: single-channel, output power ≤40W (add one 3U chassis)

ESB 942: double-channel, output power ≤40W (add one 3U chassis)

ESB 981: single-channel, output power ≤80W (add two 3U chassis)

ESB 982: double-channel, output power ≤80W (add two 3U chassis)
