Introduction |
The wet-method whole fish meal production is one of the most advanced fish meal processing technologies worldwide at present. Consisting of five major parts: fish meal production, oil refining system, double-effect falling film concentration system and deodorization device for environment protection, and electrical general control, it can make fish meal and fish oil of high quality out of leftovers of waste and odd substances (such as head, skin, bowel, etc.) and little rough fish which is not edible, especially out of whole fish which is very resourceful, and it shows great economic benefits and social benefits. |

Main Equipment |
1. Cooker |
Overview: Cooker, the main machine of the fishmeal plant, is designed as a cylinder having a steam heated jacket throughout and a steam heated rotor, designed as a screw conveyor with hollow flights. The rotor is connected to a spherical ball bearing, and its speed is adjusted by an electromagnet governor. Two seal rotary joints are sitting at both ends of the rotor for steam in and condensed water out. |
2. Squeezer |
Overview: The Squeezer is also the main machine of fishmeal plant in the wet pressing method. It consists of main body, double-screw, screen holder and power plant. It deals with the cooked material to separate the solid and liquid. Squeezer is carried out in a press chamber consisting of two hollow interlocked cylinders. |
3. Dryer |
Overview: The main machine dryer, consists of a horizontal cylinder and a steam heated rotor which is equipped with heating plates. There are propellers in the plates, the angel of which could be adjusted, to push the meal ahead. The steam through the rotor is distributed through the heating plates evenly. The steam and the condensed water flow separately in the coiled tubes in the heating plates. |
4. Double-effect Concentration |
Overview: Double-effect falling film vacuum concentrating device uses mainly the secondary steam produced by the dryer, without consuming new heating steam. Fish protein produced by the previous working procedure is concentrated to concentration of about 30% in it under the condition of vacuum and low temperature, and then is added in the dryer to make finished fish meal or else made into other product for sale. |
