Meet the VOC requirements of cigarette packsProduct Data Sheet: FriPoly A-1212
FriPoly A-1212is a modified acrylic styrene copolymer dispersion for use in overprint varnish and water based liquid inks with excellent printability and transparency. FriPoly A-1212is free of glycol ethers and contains less than 0.1% of organic solvents giving the opportunity to formulate low odour and low VOC printing inks and OPVs.

Excellent fat and grease resistance
Recommendation for end-use
- Overprint varnishes
- Flexo and gravure inks
Formulating guidelines
- In flexo and gravure ink applications FriPoly A-1212 is preferred as a let-down vehicle, rather than a grinding medium
- Maintain pH above 8 in order to prevent flocculation
- FriPoly A-1212 is compatible with alkali soluble resins such as acrylics and maleics, lower alcohols, glycol ethers, phthalate and phosphate plasticizers and urethane dispersions
- See our guide formulations for specific information
