Features
Unit cell made of Acryloyl includes flow pathway for oxygen and hydrogen. Negative and positive electrode of the unit cell is connected to fuel (methanol) pump and air (Oxygen) pump respectively. Methanol pump, air pump, methanol tank, wastewater tray, and fan are positioned to help understand each step of the operation. Amount of air flow can be controlled via on/off switch of Air/Fuel Current, Voltage, Power, and injection parts information can be monitored LCD displays the status on fuel pump, air pump, unit cell, and fan.

Smart Fuel Cell Kit is a visualized educational device to teach/learn the principle of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, Fuel Cells are the concept of a generator because of generating electricity by itself. It is significant difference between batteries and fuel cells. Fuel containing hydrogen ion is fed into the negative side if the fuel cell. Oxygen, in the other hand, is supplied into the positive side of the fuel cell. It finally produces heat, wastewater and electricity through electrochemical reactions. In contrast PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell), where hydrogen is reacted by steam reforming. DMFCs use a methanol solution to carry the reactant into the cell.
