What is the ginseng berry
The ginseng berry is referred to as the 'Ginseng Daughter' among ginseng growers, and means specifically red ripe ginseng fruits aged 4 or older.
It can only be extracted from ginseng aged 4 years or older once.

What is saponin?
The saponin ingredients contained in ginseng are also called Ginsmoside. The ginseng berry includes 2 to 5 times more saponin than ginseng roots, and as much as 35 kinds of phytonutrient.
Origin
It is reported that the Japanese Imperial Household Agency presented extracts from the Korean ginseng berry to the Crown Prince and his wife who had been unable to conceive a child for some 6 years following their marriage. The following year, Princess Masako fell pregnant, adding another footnote to the story of the ginseng berry.
