PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The use of Chinese clay grey roof tiles on the ridge roof of houses first created a precedent for
architecture and became an iconic element in Chinese architecture. The earliest tile existed in
the Neolithic Age of primitive society, and its invention was about the same time as the invention
of pottery. The firing of building roof tiles probably originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and
the Chinese clay grey roof tiles mainly protect the eaves from being eroded by wind and rain.
