Appearance：Strong chaotrope for protein denaturation and subsequent refolding. This potent denaturing agent dissolves insoluble or denatured proteins such as inclusion bodies. Can be used as a first step to renature a protein or enzyme into an active form. Urea and dithiothreitol (DTT) may also be needed.
