Use 8-09, 9-12 type high-pressure centrifugal fans for iron furnaces are suitable for blasting performance requirements of iron furnaces with melting rates of 1L/h, 2L/h, 3L/h, 5L/h, and 7L/h. The fan can also be used as a blower for various furnaces and forging furnaces and is also suitable for conveying air and gases that are non-corrosive, non-spontaneous, and non-viscous. The temperature of the conveying medium does not exceed 80°C, and the dust and hard fine particles contained in the medium do not exceed 150mg/m³.

The 8-09 fans are single suction, with 5 machine numbers: No.6.8A, 7.1D, 8D, 8.5D, and 9D. Fans 9-12 are single suction, with 5 machine numbers: No.6.8A, 7.1A, 7.7A, 8D, and 9D.
The 8-09 and 9-12 fans can be made into clockwise rotation or counterclockwise rotation. Viewed from one end of the motor, if the impeller rotates in a clockwise direction, it is called a clockwise rotating fan, which is represented by "shun"; if it rotates in a counterclockwise direction, it is called a counterclockwise rotating fan, which is represented by "counter".
The outlet position of the fan is expressed by the outlet angle of the casing, and the "forward" and "reverse" fans can be made into three angles of 0°, 90°, and 180°.
Structural features
The 8-09 and 9-12 fans are composed of impellers, casings, air inlets, transmission groups, seals, machine bases, etc. Partial assembly structures are used for 8-09 models, and integral structures are used for other models.
(1) The blade shape of the impeller is designed according to the new high-efficiency forward fan theory. After the impeller is formed, it is corrected by static and dynamic balance, so the operation is stable and reliable.
(2) The casing is welded with ordinary steel plates to form a whole volute casing.
(3) The air inlet is made into a convergent and streamlined overall structure, which is fixed with the front cover plate bolts.
(4) The transmission group is composed of the main shaft, bearing box, coupling, and so on. The main shaft is made of high-quality steel. For 8-09 type No.7.1D, 8D use rolling bearing grease lubrication, for 8-09 type No.8.5, 9 uses rolling bearing lubricating oil lubrication.
Performance and Options
(1) The parameters listed in the 8-09 and 9-12 fan performance tables are calculated for the air medium under the condition of t=20°C, atmospheric pressure pa=101.3×103Pa, and gas density ρ=1.2kg/m³. If the conditions of use do not meet the above conditions, the performance should be calculated according to the corresponding formula

(3) Precautions for purchase. Before purchasing a fan, the user should measure the actual working conditions (mainly referring to the pressure parameters) of the iron furnace. Then select according to the melting rate of the iron furnace and the required air volume and air pressure, so that the purchased fan meets the actual needs to avoid mismatching.
