This particular variety of Rajma (Kidney beans) is very differentfrom the generally available kidney beans which are mostly red incolour. These kidney beans are local to the high altitude(8000ft) harshil region in Uttarakhand Himalayas. The beans aresmooth in finish and plain creamish in colour. The climaticconditions and natural source of irrigation makes it no match toany other variety of rajma.
