HIPOL 880F/880H
HIPOL 880F is two-component type adhesive of polyurethane bases for food packaging.
The hardener 880H is used in combination, when dry lamination process, HIPOL 880F has excellent adhesion strength to a wide variety of substrates including OPP, PET, NYLON, Cellophane, CPP, PAPER, metallized and PVDC coated film, etc.
And it especially provides excellent performance for general food packaging caused by good initial adhesion strength.

4. Recommended operating conditions for dry lamination
- Dry chamber temp. : 60~80C
- Cylinder : 150lines/inch (about 7g~9g/, wet)
- Line speed : 80~100m/min.
- Aging : 24~48hrs at 50C aging room.
- Nip roll temp. : 60~80C
- Cleaning solvent : methanol, MEK
5. Influence of mixing ratio
Since HIPOL 880F is reacted with HIPOL 880H and is hardened, The peeling strength appears differently by mixing ratio.
The peeling strength is not so much affected if the deviation from the recommended mixing ratio is within 5~10% and no problems would be caused if it is used normally.
And a hardening is in proportion to aging temperature and aging time.
6. Influence of coating amount
If the coating amount which is coated on films too small, the appearance is not clear or bubble mixing, floating, roll mark, other defective appearances may be caused.
And the peeling strength is not enough either. On the other hand, if the coating amount is too much, such appearance troubles as the tunneling, blur, shrinkage, wrinkle, etc. may be resulted.
Generally speaking, the coating amount, 3~4g/(dry) could be recommended to obtain excellent adhesive property.
7. Influence of aging conditions
Since HIPOL 880F/880H is the reactive type, a appropriate aging time and temperature is needed to reach the maximum peeling strength after the lamination.
An appropriate aging time and temperature refers to an item 4.
8. Influence of applied Films
The peeling strength makes a difference according to each films.
Even if the source materials of the films are same, their peeling strengths can be quite different.
It is because that the corona treatment or surface of the films are minutely different according to manufactures and production facilities.
Therefore, you must sufficient lab test with films and adhesives before begin operating.
