Corn Silage at our farm

Corn silage is used to feed all cattle on the farm, including: dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep and goat. It can be supplemented with protein, minerals, and sometimes energy to satisfy the animal's nutrient requirements. Although silage is sometimes used as the only forage for cattle milk, it is often eaten with a free forage such as alfalfa which is higher in crude protein.
