Owing to the beneficial elements of V, Cr, Ni and Cu contained in steel in trace quantity , the deformed bars of HRB400(E) ,HRB500(E),HRB600 and the fine rolled deformed bars produced in HBIS have remarkable characteristics of high strength , anti-seismic , corrosion resistant and welding performance .These products are widely used in the bridges and high speed railways and most favored by the customers. HBIS relaying on the superiority of technology and resource ,has developed deformed steel bars in conformity with products standards of UK, USA, Japan, Australia and Jamaica and has been exploring overseas market . The products have been sold to some 16 countries and regions such as UAE, Iran, Syria, South Korea , Russia ,Ethiopia, Brazil and New Zeeland with a total amount of 200 thousand tons every year .

The total annual capacity of the three bar production lines is 3.4 million tons. Bar production line 1,with the complete equipment introduced from DANIELI in Italy ,has an annual capacity of 1.2million tons including deformed bars of Φ22-Φ50mm and round bars of Φ18-Φ60mm .Bar production line 2, adopting 2 slits rolling and 3 slits rolling technology , has an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons of deformed bars of Φ14-Φ22mm with techno economic norms taking the lead in the country . Bar production line 3 produces Φ10、Φ12 and Φ14 deformed bars by 4 slits rolling process with an annual capacity of million tons.
