1.Product description
Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a kind of non-ionic water-soluble polymer, widely used in architectural coatings, petroleum, medicine, daily chemicals and other industries, with thickening, bonding, emulsification, dispersion, stabilization, and can retain water, form films and provide protective colloidal effect, easily soluble in cold and hot water, can provide a wide range of viscosity solutions. Hydroxyethyl cellulose is a non-ionic water-soluble polymer made of natural polymer cellulose through a series of chemical processing. It is a kind of yellowish or white, odorless and tasteless powder solid substance.
2.Product Application
Used as adhesive, surfactant, colloid protective agent, dispersant, emulsifier and dispersion stabilizer, etc. It is widely used in coating, ink, fiber, dyeing, paper making, cosmetics, pesticide, mineral processing, oil extraction and medicine.
(1) generally used as thickening agent, protective agent, adhesive, stabilizer and preparation of emulsion, jelly, ointment, lotion, eye cleanser, supsupitory and tablet additives, also used as hydrophilic gel, skeleton material, preparation of skeleton type sustaine-release preparation, can also be used in food as stabilizer and other functions.
(2) Used as sizing agent in textile industry, bonding, thickening, emulsifying and stabilizing agent in electronic and light industry sectors.
(3) Used as thickener and filtrate loss reducer for water-based drilling fluid and completion fluid, it has obvious thickening effect in saline drilling fluid. It can also be used as fluid loss reducing agent for oil well cement. It can be cross-linked with multivalent metal ions to form gels.
(4) this product is used for the fracturing of oil water-based gel fracturing fluid, polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride polymerization dispersant. It can also be used as latex thickener in paint industry, humidifier in electronic industry, cement coagulant and moisture retaining agent in construction industry. Ceramic industry glaze and toothpaste adhesive. Also widely used in printing and dyeing, textile, paper, medicine, health, food, cigarettes, pesticides and fire extinguishing agents and other aspects.
(5) as surfactant, colloid protective agent, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and other emulsions to take the emulsification stabilizer, as well as latex viscosity enhancer, dispersant, dispersion stabilizer, etc. Widely used in coating, fiber, dyeing, papermaking, cosmetics, medicine, pesticides and other aspects. It also has many uses in oil mining and machinery industry.
(6) Hydroxyethyl cellulose has surface activity, thickening, suspension, bonding, emulsification, film formation, dispersion, water retention and protection in drug solid and liquid preparations.
(7) used for the exploitation of petroleum water-based gel fracturing fluid, polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene polymerization dispersants. It can also be used as latex thickening agent in paint industry, cement coagulant and moisture retaining agent in construction industry, glaze agent and toothpaste adhesive in ceramic industry. Also widely used in printing and dyeing, textile, paper, medicine, health, food, cigarettes and pesticides and other industrial fields.
3.Product Use Notice
Since the surface treated hydroxyethyl cellulose is a powder or cellulose solid, it is easy to handle and dissolve in water provided the following precautions are taken.
(1) Before and after adding hydroxyethyl cellulose, it must be stirred continuously until the solution is completely transparent and clear.
(2) must be slowly sift into the mixing barrel, do not a large number or has formed a block and spherical hydroxyethyl cellulose directly into the mixing barrel.
(3) water temperature and PH value of water on the dissolution of hydroxyethyl cellulose has an obvious relationship, must pay special attention to.
(4) Do not add some alkaline substances to the mixture before hydroxyethyl cellulose powder is warmed by water. Raising the PH value after warming helps to dissolve.
(5) As far as possible, add anti-mold agent in advance.
(6) When using high viscosity type hydroxyethyl cellulose, the concentration of mother liquor should not be higher than 2.5-3%, otherwise the mother liquor is difficult to operate. After the treatment of hydroxyethyl cellulose, generally not easy to form a block or spherical, and will not form insoluble spherical colloid after adding water.
