The product consists of two high quality spun bond polypropylene outer layers with a core which resists water 3m hydrostatic head while allowing 1500g/M2/24hrs to filter through dissipating condensation. The material is used under slates& tiles on roofing applications and as a house wrap in timber framed applications. It can be left exposed to the elements prior to finishing for up to 4 months (northern europe0 as it is highly UV resistant as well as being totally waterproof where it can be used to provide temporary roof water proofing and cover. The material is normally sold in rolls of 1.5m wide by 50m. Long but other sizes are available. The outer layer forms the functional waterproof surface; the middle layer is the breathable waterproof membrane and the inner layer protects the membrane from abrasion and damage, also giving additional strength. This enables the fabric to allow moisture vapour to pass through, whilst remaining fully waterproof. We can provide various colors on upper surface, printed with the trade name and head lap lines. Use: Breathable roofing underlay positioned immediately above the insulation layer in a warm pitched roof, or in a cold pitched roof (ventilated or unventilated).
