Fire testing:
1. EN 50200:2006 PH30 requires resistance to fire and mechanical shock for 30 minutes in two tests.
2. BS 7629-1:2008 Clause 14.4 - Resistance to fire, with mechanical shock and with water
C – Resistance to fire at 950ºC for 3 hours
W - Resistance to fire and water at 650ºC for 30 minutes and
Z - Resistance to fire and mechanical shock at 950°C for 15 minutes
3. BS 5839-1:2013 Clause 26.2d states 'standard fire resisting cables' should meet the PH30 classification when tested in accordance with EN 50200 and additionally the 30 minute survival time when tested in accordance with Annex E of that standard.
