The properties of KD Valve (Metal Seated Ball Valves)
All of main parts included ball, seat and stem should be made by Kyungduck Industry Co.,Ltd which has owned unique treatment itself, the main parts don't have any scratch or peeling off from files or sand papers and have the feature of high-hardness. But these parts don't have any damage from any impacts and the heat impacts.
KD products keep the valve's function for a long time. As our experiences, KD products has a long durability more than coating products included any welded coating. So, the original function of valves lasts several times to several ten times than other products.
The leakage class of ball valves is over ANSI VI, and the sealing between ball and metal seat will be better if you start the operation of ball valves.

High-hardness : The hardness treated by unique treatment work will can be different according to operation situation(temperature, pressure, services, and etc.) and using. The range of hardness is Microhardness HV 1800~5000(Over HRC 80)
Anti-wear down properties : As the surface of treatment is changed to metallurgical tooth-shape structure, like as the structure of fine ceramics, so the KD products excel to heavy impact, complex abrasive application, high-temperature, high-pressure and anti-wear down.
Low friction factor : As the material keeps self lubricational function with very low friction coefficient by one third compared to other materials conventionally heat treated, it can be used with dry condition. KD products has lower 70% friction factor than general products.
Anti-corrosion : It gives very good performance especially against HCI, H2So4, H2S, HF, Phosphate, Sea water, Alkali and etc.
Gas obstacle : It gives higher performance against O2, H2, SO2, SO3, H2S, CI.
Anti-abrasion : As the hardness is not changed up to critical temperature, given performance can be well maintained up to 600°C depends on selected material. It is especially superior to liquid, dry flowing and abrasive.
