Mill Scale is a byproduct obtained during the heating and lamination of steel plates and sheets. Mill Scale is a scrap collected by the steel mill operations, located in Libya.

It's average composition is the following:

Fe Total 70% SiO2 3.37% Ai2O3 1.1% CaO 2.45% P 0.08 S 0.05 MnO 0.57 H2O 5% max. Oil 0.9% max.
