Keumkang Mineral Wool is manufactured from various types of stone primarily diabase-which is melted at 1500℃-1700℃. The molten stone flows from the melting furnace over a series of rapidly spinning centrifugal wheels that throw off the liquid in the form of droplets which is drawn out to form a fiber. It has broader range in service temperature and products than the other insulation materials to satisfy various demands of clients nowadays. These meet increasingly strong demands for structural heat and fire resistance to provide safety in buildings, houses, accommodation areas of ships, and other places where people come in contact with potential dangers. As a thermal-insulating, fire- protecting, and noise-controlling material, Mineral Wool contributes to a solution of problems in all of these areas and many others as well.
