The pore size of 3A molecular sieve is 3A. It does not adsorb any molecular larger than 3A. (note: 1A=0.1nm) It is an alkali metal alumino-silicate, the potassium form of the typ A crystal structure. 3 Angstrom, is obtained when part of the sodium ions of the 4 Angstrom sieve are replaced by potassium ions.

REGENERATION:
Molecular sieve can be regenerated for re-use by purging or evacuating at elevated temperatures. The degree of regeneration (adsorbed substances removal) is dependent on the temperature and humidity of the purge gas. In practice, blowing the molecular sieve by dry purge gas at an inlet temperature of 200degrees centigrade-350 degrees centigrade and a pressure of 0.3 ~ 0.5 kg per square centimeter, heat the molecular sieve bed. As the temperature in outlet reaches 150 ~ 180degrees centigrade, let the bed cool off.
