Monkeypox Virus Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR) Monkeypox IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette
Monkeypox Virus Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR)
Monkeypox is an infectious disease caused by the monkeypox virus that can occur in certain animals, including humans. Symptoms begin with fever, headache, muscle pains, swollen lymph nodes, and feeling tired. This is followed by a rash that forms blisters and crusts over. The time from exposure to onset of symptoms is usually 7 to 14 days. The duration of symptoms is typically two to four weeks.Humans can be infected by an animal via a bite, or by direct contact with an infected animal’s bodily fluids. The virus can also spread from human to human, by respiratory (airborne) contact or by contact with an infected person's bodily fluids.

Monkeypox IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma)
The Monkeypox IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test uses anti-human IgM antibody (test line IgM), anti-human IgG (test line IgG) and rabbit IgG (control line C) immobilized on a nitrocellulose strip. The burgundy colored conjugate pad contains colloidal gold conjugated to recombinant Monkeypox virus antigens conjugated with colloid gold (Monkeypox conjugates). When a specimen followed by assay buffer is added to the sample well, IgM &/or IgG antibodies if present, will bind to Monkeypox conjugates making antigen antibodies complex. This complex migrates through nitrocellulose membrane by capillaryaction. When the complex meets the line of the corresponding immobilized antibody (anti-human IgM &/or anti-human IgG) the complex is trapped forming a burgundy colored band which confirm a reactive test result. Absence of a colored band in the test region indicates a non reactive test result.
