SA-series are developed for full automation of substation. To achieve that goal, system architecture is focused on including both the traditional RTU function and GATEWAY functions for IEDs. Most popular protocols for monitoring and control of substations are included as communication driver. Protocol conversion for information exchange between multiple masters, IEDs and RTUs. All of our processing modules are standard VME double height architecture and I/O terminal modules are separately installed, maintenance is very easy. To replace modules, simply exchange the module with a spare one. Configuration os also simply with our Windows® program RTUMan, which is very easy to use. Also, all modules has its own console RS232C port and console commands to maintain bottom to top trouble shooting. As our main processors has Linux as their operation system, users can develop their own application and utilize our various I/O modules as well as powerful CPU modules. To do that, we supply API's as the libraries to access and control our I/O modules.
1. SA-x100 Chassis -SA-x100 series are based on 19" 6U sub-rack and cubicle. -SA-G100 is GATEWAY system out of SA-x100 chassis. -On one SA-G100, users can install one CPU module, up to four SA-C360 modules, and up to four MODEMs together. -SA-R100 is a RTU system out of SA-x10 chassis. -On one SA-R100, users can install one CPU module and up to ten I/O modules. -If the user want to use SA-MMU and SA-MM-x modules, 23" cubicle must be used for SA-MM-x 23" sub-racks. -Users need to install Matching/Interface modules on cubicle according the use of I/O modules. -SA-x30 series are based on 19" 3U sub-rack only. -SA-G30 is a GATEWAY system out of SA-x30 chassis -On one SA-G100, users can install one CPU module and up to four SA-C360 modules. -SA-R30 is a RTU system out of SA-x30 chassis -On one SA-S20, users can install one CPU module and up to four I/O modules, but the limitation of I/O terminal space, there are one CPU, one SA-DI32, one SA-DO16B, one SA-AI32, and one SA-AII module as standard. And SA-AI32 handles only 16 points of inputs. -SA-x10 series are based on 19" 1U sub-rack and cubicle. -SA-G10 is a GATEWAY system based on dual SA-MiniMPC boards. -SA-G10 has two CPUs and two power supplies for redundant system. It has automatic and manual switching mechanism. This mechanism can also be controlled by software. -SA-G-Mini is a tiny but powerful GATEWAY system based on a single SA-MiniMPC board with built-in power supply.
4. Software -RTU software (firmware) is available on any CPU module, but GATEWAY is not available on SA-C360 at this time. -The firmware of SA-C360 is also can be different whether it is used as a CPU or port expand module of the other CPU. Management Tool Software (For PC) -Users can simply define communication ports, protocols on it, and database points on CPU modules. -And also can configure I/O modules setting values. |
