Kids wearing wetsuit is a tight-fitting, thermally insulated garment made of an elastic substance called neoprene. Neoprene was first invented in the 1930s and is a synthetic rubber material composed of tiny nitrogen bubbles. When neoprene sheets are stacked on top of each other (like a diving suit), the layer of small bubbles forms a strong insulating buffer layer between the body and the water.
