Nylon PA11 powder is a bioplastic polyamide powder that is used for a wide-array of applications, but more recently has become integral in the 3d polymer printing process. PA11 powder is typically very lightweight in nature and like other polymer powders, it can stick to the surface when being screened. The typical spec for sieving PA11 Is at 200 microns on top and 53 microns on the bottom. For the 53 micron fines removal on the bottom, the key is minimizing the amount of fines left in the product. This can be a very frustrating process using conventional and ultrasonic screeners due to their inability to efficiently screen at these finer sizes.
