PC(Polycarbonate) Flame Retardant – PC-16

I.Product Introduction

PC-16 is a new type of silicone PC flame retardant, flame retardant (above 1.6mm), high efficiency, high temperature resistance, high gloss, cost-effective, long-lasting fire. It is recommended to be used in PC and PC alloy halogen-free flame retardant, while PC materials to maintain the original physical properties.

Function: Combustion formation of siloxane unique inorganic oxygen barrier adiabatic protective layer, prevent the combustion of decomposition products escape to inhibit the thermal decomposition of polymer materials, to achieve the purpose of flame retardant, low smoke, low toxicity.

Mechanism: By generating cracked charcoal layer and improving the antioxidant property of charcoal layer to improve the flame retardant effect.

III. Product Features

1. The product is not deliquescent, not hydrolyzed, has excellent fireproof performance, and becomes carbon and slag quickly.

2. The flame retardant products are long-lasting fireproof, different from non-silicon flame retardant system.

3. It can be used with different kinds of flame retardants to achieve better flame retardancy.

4. Not applicable to thin-walled (below 1.0mm) PC products flame retardant.

IV. Application

PC flame retardant products recommended: PC + KSS for compounding, PC + GF meter shell, wall switch panel, charger shell, etc.

1. Packed in paper and plastic bags, 25kg/bag.

2. Storage in cool dry place.
