Our green polyamides are a series of polyamides primarily based on our unique 100% biobased 1,5-pentamethylenediamine, C-BIO N5. Polyamide 56 based on this new diamine has similar performance properties to Polyamide 66. Also substituting HMDA with C-BIO N5, our five carbon diamine, offers new performance properties in certain polyamide applications due to the odd/even carbon arrangement.
