PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FEP is a melt-processible copolymer of TFE and HFP with excellent thermo-stability and chemical inertness, outstanding electrical insulation and very low friction coefficient,is one of the common fluorinated plastics.
FEP resin is a crystalline polymer whose crystallinity is lower than that of PTFE. FEP is a soft plastic with tensile strength, wear resistance and creep resistance lower than many engineering plastics.
The thermoplastic process techniques can be used to fabricate useful products from FEP. FEP has a maximum recommended use temperature of nearly 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).
