Introduction:
EL6000B Battery Flux is solvent-based formulation designed for a safe high performance applicable on all COS(cast-on-strap) process machinery. This low VOC flux enhances void elimination thus assuring the integrity of the fillet weave. Excellent moistening characteristic assures coverage. Proven worldwide on most first and all second generation COS equipment.
This flux contains no chlorides, heavy metals , which could effect the long term life of the batteries. EL6000B Battery Flux provides excellent metallurgical fusing of all lead-based battery alloys as employed in the cast-on-strap process systems. This flux leaves very minimal residue after the burn-in process.
Process Recommendations
EL6000B Battery Flux can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing and will function in a closed or open system. This flux has a long working life in the flux pot.
