Introduction
Power and T&D Industry is developing rapidly with more and more high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage switchgear used, and the demand of GIS is soaring with it. SF6 is widely used in GIS as a good insulation and interruption gas. The compartment tightness of GIS is very critical to its lifetime and the maintenance cost, and the leakage of SF6 will impact the safety and health of staffs and the global warming, too.
There are international and national standards Test Qm method to specify the tightness test of GIS, such as: GB50150-2006 Standard for hand-over test of electric equipment, GB/T 11023-2018 Test method of SF6 gas tightness for high-voltage switchgear , IEC62271-1 Common specifications for SF6-insulated and air insulated high voltage switchgear and control gear,CIGRE TB430 SF6 Tightness Guide, etc.
