High-Grade Silica Sand

Egypt has a surplus of alluvial sand, but silica in the form of sand is normally contaminated by iron oxide and other impurities and, in Egypt, does not meet the basic chemical specifications for industrial applications. Fortunately, however the country contains large volumes of quartz-rich sandstone, which after crushing and processing provide silica sand of high quality and great abundance.
