SMART PROTRACTOR / LM-450 & LS-210
109Tools Smart Protractor can rotate 360° to measure and find any internal or external angle. Suitable for most materials or surfaces. The Protractor can provide measurement angle value dimension on the scale and four different miter cut values next to the scale.
Useful for:
• Carpenters and builders
• Construction engineers
• Steel frame and plant engineers
• Furniture designers, Woodworkers, Artisans
• Costume designers
• DIY tool users
[Features]
109Tools Smart Protractor is equipped with standard angle value scales on both sides of the arms, and left and right edges. These scale graduations and slope measurements are based on the standard angle notation scale. Angles (Miter) are measured so that the angle value can be cut flat as well as perform compound miter cuts. In order to provide ease of use for miter cuts, four types of miter cut values are indicated in two rows that are marked on the two arms for easy cutting of the measured angle to the grid. Easily perform accurate miter cutting work without a jig.
WHY HAVE WE INVENTED THE SMART PROTRACTOR?

STANDARD ANGLE VALUES PART - USING COMPOUND MITER SAW (FLAT)
Adjust the saw angle to the angle indicated on the inner arm, tighten and cut.
USING HAND TOOLS (FLAT)
When using carpenter saw, angle grinder etc, measure corners of cutouts by retracting smart protractor. Set to Standard Angle Values, place on material, measure and tighten locking nut. Mark the lines and cut.
COSINE ANGLE PART - CROWN MOULDING (OBLIQUE ANGLE)
When working with interior (crown) moulding, you can cut easily and quickly using cosine angle cutting value data of the crown moulding cut. There are two types of miter angle cutting values for crown moulding: 1) at 45°/45° and 2) at 38°/52°, which are shown in the two lines next to the scale. The cutting value indicated by the "miter" arrow next to the scale is the cutting value that adjusts the angle of the workpiece as indicated on the compound miter saw tray on a compound miter saw. The cutting value indicated by the "saw" arrow is the cutting value that adjusts the angle of the saw blade portion of the compound miter saw. By adjusting the angle of the saw blade and the tray to the cutting value of the crown moulding cut (Bevel), the crown moulding can be placed on the saw's tray flat without use of a jig so that the diagonal articulation by the cosine value can be done with ease.
