Silicon carbide is an inorganic non-metallic material. Silicon carbide has high hardness, high wear resistance, low friction coefficient, strong oxidation resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal expansion coefficient, high thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance and chemical resistance. Silicon carbide is widely used in various mechanical equipment requiring wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. The silicon carbide bearings produced by our company use a new generation of pressureless sintered silicon carbide（SSiC). SSiC seeks to use high-purity a-SiC micropowder and additives to press into a green body, and then through a pressureless sintering process at high temperatures to form high-purity, high-density silicon carbide without free silicon. SSiC has better hardness, strength, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, impact resistance and other performance indicators than other ceramics (such as: ZrO2, reaction sintered silicon carbide, etc.).
