HAL LAN ™ 001×8 is a strong acid cation resin in sodium form. It is amber in color and made from 8% cross-linked gel. It is a workhorse cation resin optimized for commercial/industrial and residential softening applications that require good regeneration efficiency and oxidative stability. 001×8 is intended for use in all commercial and industrial applications including both softening and demineralization.Also used for hard water softening, desalted water, pure water and high pure water preparation, also used for catalyst and dehydrating agent, as well as hydrometallurgy, separation and purification of rare elements, food, pharmaceutical, sugar, industry is also used for hydrometallurgy extraction of tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, rare earth and other rare elements separation.Softening treatment of water dispenser, coffee machine, electric iron, household water heater and high-grade aquaculture water.

What is the difference between 8% and 10% softener resin?
The 10% crosslinked resin offers up to 50% longer life and 10% additional capacity than the 8% crosslinked resin. A higher degree of crosslinking leads to a decreased bead size and therefore a greater number of beads allowed per cubic foot of resin.
