Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene Block Copolymer (SIS)
SIS is a class of styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymers produced via proprietary sequential anionic polymerization. Most SIS products are of linear structure, with different amount of diblocks. It usually appears as porous particles with outstanding melt processability and thermal stability. SIS is mainly used in hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives, sealants and polymer modification.
